I’ve installed trial of Visual 2008. At first look there’s no such big difference between this version and previous one. First one you can see when you create a project as you can below there’s no Business Intelligence projects, even you installed SQL server 2005 on your computer. On MSDN I found information that it will appears when you’ll install SQL server 2008.

Microsoft has added a few new projects like WCF, Workflow, office (2003 and 2007) and reporting. Ok. Let’s start with simple C# project. Most of the controls are version 2.0. Just a few like WPF or MicrosoftReportViewer are in different version.

The last one doesn’t exist in previous version VS. Meaby MS is going to remove Crystal Reports in next version? Who knows…
